We have been lucky enough to work with two of their tutors now. Our past teacher, Nao Sensei, was fantastic, and our new tutor, Taku Sensei, is equally incredible. During my last extended stay in Japan, I contacted HH JapaNeeds to find teachers or volunteers with whom I could practice my Japanese. I must say I was impressed by the seriousness and quality of this language school. I answered quite a number of questions and even had a phone interview to assess my level.

I was looking for a company that was able to be flexible and work with my specific requests for how I’d like to learn and I found it! Chanced upon HH JapaNeeds while trying to find online classes to improved my Japanese. The response is fast and Honda San contacted me. First he conducted an interview to see my level of Japanese and to find out more on which area am I focusing on learning. He is a very helpful coordinator and always constantly checking if the requirement fit my needs.

He got me a tutor which is able to accommodate my schedule. The tutor is very patient when i tried to used poor Japanese to communicate with her. She tried to understand and correct my Japanese. It been a few months taking the classes and I am happy. The tutor always makes an effort to plan a lesson plan before the class which I am really grateful for it.

I would highly recommend them to embarks a language endeavours together!

Very helpful if you want to learn Japanese. They have various options of tutoring, and you probably find one at your location (or online, if you want) and according to your needs. Coordination via e-mail or Whatsapp is swift and in excellent English, the tutors are all very helpful (I chose the partner level) and you get to choose which one(s) suit(s) you best. The online presence is also very useful. Highly recommended.

Mr Honda did a great job. He always cares about the status of learner and if you have any questions, he provides answers right away. Hhjapaneeds is a very good platform to meet new people and a good way to learn new language. I enjoyed it very much. I am not only learning how to converse but learning the culture is a plus. My name is Nick Richter, and I am a junior high school teacher in Nagoya. I came to Japan to teach English, spread the Gospel as a missionary teacher, and experience firsthand Japanese culture and the people.

For many years, I had wanted to travel to Japan. I knew before I even entered the country that the language barrier was going to be a big one. I knew that Japanese people learned English in school, but not many Japanese people are fluent in English.

I knew that to get the most out of my time in Japan, I would have to study and learn at least a little Japanese. Learning online or studying from a textbook can help you, but they only get you so far. I knew that to start to become fluent in Japanese, I would need a tutor. That’s when I went to HH JapaNeeds of Nagoya.

Getting a tutor through HH JapaNeeds was a great experience from the beginning to the end. I am a full time teacher, so I have a busy schedule. I was able to choose where and when to meet a tutor at times, on days, and at places that were convenient for me.

I was also able to choose a tutor at an age level I felt comfortable with. My tutor has also been able to rearrange our meeting times when I have a faculty meeting or other school function.

One of the best things about tutors at HH JapaNeeds is they are able to meet your specific language needs. Although I studied general Japanese grammar and vocabulary from a textbook, my tutor was also very willing to accommodate my specific learning needs as an English teacher of young Japanese students.

I often deviated from the content of my textbook when I asked my tutor many questions about the Japanese words for items in the classroom and how to give common commands and ask questions related to classroom activities. In addition, my tutor was also very willing to answer my many questions about various aspects of Japanese culture.

Thanks to my tutor from Helping Hands, I have become much more fluent in Japanese than when I came to Nagoya about a year ago. I can now talk to Japanese people whom I meet and really enjoy all that Japan has to offer.

I can also communicated with my students with much greater ease, making sure my lessons are effective and they can really enjoy our lessons together.

It been a few months taking the classes and I am happy. The tutor always makes an effort to plan a lesson plan before the class which I am really grateful for it.

I would highly recommend them to embarks a language endeavours together!

I would love to continue learning Japanese classes with them.
